ur Executive Director, Michael Rethazi, has a long and successful working career in education in Ontario.

Experiences as a secondary school principal led to a thorough knowledge and understanding of programming in Special Education, French Immersion, ESL, Adult Education and Advanced Placement (AP). His skill set includes reaching hard-to-serve adolescents, online learning, curriculum implementation, project and team management, community outreach, partnerships, advocacy and support.

Working at the Ministry of Education as an Education Officer and Private Schools Inspector for the past ten years included leadership roles such as a Program Coordinator for the Private Schools Unit and Provincial Lead for legal issues.

Michael has inspected hundreds of schools in Ontario and overseas. He has a thorough understanding of the Ministry of Education’s regulatory function for private schools in Ontario.

Ontario’s private and independent school sector provides parents with the opportunity to choose a school setting that is tailored to their values and their children’s needs. Assisting schools in the delivering of the provincial curriculum in compliance with Ministry policy is our gold-standard.
